Action 5.3.1 : Testing hazard maps at DCPP

Technical Issue

Use available information from fragile geologic features to trim branches of the logic tree that are inconsistent with the existence of the fragile geologic features.

Proposed Approach

Collect data on precarious rocks near DCPP and develop fragility models and estimate ages.  Apply the Baker et al (BSSA, 2013) method to remove branches from the logic tree that are rejected by the precarious rock information.

Deliverable

  • Fragilities and ages dates for precarious rocks near DCPP
  • Modified logic tree weights
